In Nazarband, acclaimed filmmaker and theatre director, Suman Mukhopadhyay takes us on a visceral journey through Kolkata with an unlikely pair - Vasanti and Chandu - two jailbirds recently released from prison. Adapted from Bengali novelist Ashapurna Devi’s Chhuti Nakoch, the film stars Indira Tiwari and Tanmay Dhanania, and is a heartfelt exploration into the depths of companionship and the meaning of rejection and acceptance.
