Gabriel Bámgbóṣé is a writer, critic, and translator. He is completing his Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at Rutgers University-New Brunswick on a Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Completion Fellowship. His research focuses on how African women poets writing in English, French, Portuguese, and Yorùbá rethink négritude poetics. Bámgbóṣé is the founding editor of Ijagun Poetry Journal.
