Fashioning the Culture Impact of Islamic Diaspora

This event brings together scholars working on African, Middle Eastern, and South Asian cultures to discuss the impact of Islamic diaspora on fashioning identities and 

lifestyles around the globe. Performances compliment the panel by showcasing transnational ways of belonging and celebrating cultural hybridity. 

This event includes:

• Performance by Table (percussion), recital by Taalika 
• A fashion show by TWESE (The Organization for African Students and Friends of Africa)
• A reception
